Who gets caught up in the editing process? I record a podcast with my brother and we usually forget that our parents will be listening, so I end up having to make a LOT of cuts in post. Also, we do "watch-alongs" with movies, so I can't simply cut, because then our timing will be out of sync with the movie; I usually ramp up the music that accompanies the podcast at a low level. He uses his phone as a mic and I use a Blue Nessie which works well. However, his end usually ends up needing a lot of fixes (compressor, EQ for that phone sound, x-noise, de-click, etc.) Any tips?? Yes, he is getting a better mic soon.
